What is a Casino?

Until recently, mobsters controlled the major gambling operations in Nevada, particularly Las Vegas and Reno. However, real estate investors and hotel chains with deep pockets bought out the mob and now run casinos without the taint of mafia involvement. Despite the money flowing through them, casinos remain a dangerous place for both gamblers and workers alike. Both can be tempted to cheat or steal, either in collusion with other players or independently.
